«La niña que no quería cepillarse el cabello» is the children's picture book by Kate Bernheimer and Jake Parker, hardback, 40 pages, in Spanish (Picarona).
A girl refuses to brush her long mane and, one fine day, some mice settle among her tangled hair and make their home there. The protagonist must decide between brushing them out or letting them stay and live in her hair. A story illustrated by Jake Parker that tackles hygiene and personal care with humour.
The first Spanish edition, translated from English by Joana Delgado Sánchez, was published by Picarona in 2014.
Suitable for early readers and for reading aloud to young children, especially if hygiene routines need a fun approach.
