Synopsis of La Nature

«La Nature» is the children's natural science encyclopedia by Emilie Beaumont and Emmanuelle Paroissien, published by Fleurus in hardback (128 pages, in French).

Answers around 500 children's questions about nature with images and short texts: why the Earth receives meteorites, how oil forms, why volcanoes can be dangerous, the green colour of plants or why flowers wither. An educational work covering the terrestrial ecosystem, meteorology, plate tectonics and biological diversity.

Part of the «Pourquoi Comment» collection. Originally published in 2008 by Fleurus. Hardback (board book) format, 128 pages.

Recommended for children aged 6 and up, though its question-and-answer approach also appeals to curious adults.
