«La manzana de Adán» is the novel by Erno Szep, published by Lengua de Trapo in paperback (320 pages, in Spanish).
A forty-six-year-old poet, critic and playwright notes down each night what happens to him: biting reflections on time, decay and his career, but above all on love. His comfortable relationship with a married woman crosses paths with an impossible passion for a naive young woman, which raises the question of how far one can intervene in another's life.
Volume 20 of the Rescatados collection from Lengua de Trapo, with a foreword by Alejandro Gándara.
