«La isla desierta» is a children's and young adult book by Alena Emilova and Ana Prado Riveiro, published by Aguilar in paperback, in Spanish.
Juan and his sister Diana have been shipwrecked on a desert island for five years. After so many adventures, they have grown used to living there: they have their cabin, food and the sea for swimming. They decide to write a letter and throw it into the sea in a bottle, hoping it reaches their family, and they tell their story to invite readers to share a few days with them.
It was published on 25 February 2009 and is part of the Books for Playing line; it includes die-cut pages.
Aimed at children and young adults who enjoy adventure stories.
