«La herradura y las cerezas» is an illustrated children's story by VV.AA., published by Euro Impala in paperback (10 pages, in Spanish).
In the story, two children walk through a countryside landscape: one carries a backpack and gazes at the sky, while the other points to a shiny horseshoe on the ground. With three-dimensional images and a brief text, the tale brings the reader closer to a legacy of the past and links the words with striking illustrations.
Published in 2008, it is part of the Cuentos Encantadores collection, which also includes Los tres conejitos, La hormiguita and El viejo, el muchacho y el burro.
For children who are beginning to read and enjoy short stories with plenty of visual support.
