La guerra segons Simone Weil

Synopsis of La guerra segons Simone Weil

«La guerra segons Simone Weil» is the philosophy essay by Maite Larrauri Gómez, published by Tandem Edicions in paperback (107 pages, in Valencian).

The work starts from Simone Weil's reflection on war: if conflicts arose from something as tangible as wealth, those who decide them might calculate their gains and losses and stop in time. The book suggests, however, that wars are not made by those who think, and proposes an accessible reading of that idea.

Fourth volume in the collection Filosofia per a profans. Second edition, published in 2004. Text in Valencian; parallel title in Spanish: «La guerra según Simone Weil».

Aimed at young readers and those new to philosophy, with a popularising and illustrated approach.
