«La experiencia» is the novel by Sergi Puertas, published by Editorial Pez de Plata in paperback (304 pages, in Spanish).
In 2016, with no response from publishers, Sergi Puertas sends his story collection under a pseudonym with the photo of a twenty-five-year-old woman. The literary hoax intersects with his job at a corrupt vocational training centre, and the publishing fraud merges with plundered European funds, bought inspectors and envelopes of cash.
Volume 31 of the Narrativa Pez de Plata collection, first edition published in Spain on 2 May 2022.
Work aimed at a general audience, with an interest in contemporary fiction that portrays the publishing industry and institutional corruption.
