«La dona que somiava mariatxis» is a collection of short stories by Assumpta Mercader Solà, published by Voliana Edicions in paperback (116 pages, in Catalan).
The stories in this collection spring from the author's childhood in a large family with a deep-rooted sense of humour. Her grandmother's sayings, the irony learned at home and conversations overheard on the Renfe feed tales that invite readers to view the world with a humorous perspective and to get angry only about what truly matters.
It is part of the Voliac collection from Voliana Edicions (number 29). It is the first edition, published on 7 July 2016.
For readers of short stories in Catalan who appreciate irony, everyday humour and brief tales with a reflective gaze.
