«La Disparition Soudaine Des Ouvrières» is the crime novel by Serge Quadruppani, published by Le Masque in paperback (219 pages, in French).
Commissioner Simona Tavianello investigates a series of murders in an Italian region. Pamphlets signed by «La revolución de las abejas», a beekeeper and the multinational Sacropiano point to a plot between radical environmentalists and industrialists. With the help of Marco, her husband, she tries not to fall into conspiracy theories.
Second instalment of the «Commissaire Simona Tavianello» series and part of Le Masque's «Grands Formats» collection. It was originally published in 2011.
For crime novel fans who appreciate plots with social criticism and an environmentalist backdrop.
