«La croisade s'amuse» is the humour comic by Jul, published by Albin Michel in paperback (56 pages, in French).
With corrosive humour about international current affairs, the album covers episodes and themes such as the US hunt for Bin Laden, hostage-taking and the debate over the Islamic veil. The cover illustration, in which a haloed character holds a man in a turban while an angel carries the American flag, sums up this geopolitical satire.
Published on 30 March 2006; paperback edition of 56 pages in French. ISBN 9782226171337.
For readers of bande dessinée and political satire who enjoy a humorous and critical look at geopolitics.
