«La Compagnia Dei Celestini» is the humour and fantasy novel by Stefano Benni, published by Feltrinelli in paperback (286 pages, in Italian).
In the Celestini orphanage, three children —Memorino, Lucifero and Alì— run away to take part in the World Pallastrada Championship, organised by the Gran Bastardo. Two priests, a journalist and a photographer pursue them across the imaginary and corrupt land of Gladonia, while a prophecy written on the walls threatens everyone.
It belongs to Feltrinelli's Universale Economica collection. The work was originally published in 1992.
