«La chica del tambor» is the spy novel by John Le Carré, published by Planeta in paperback and in Spanish.
In the midst of the struggle between Palestinians and Israelis, a young actress is recruited by the secret services to infiltrate a terrorist cell by posing as someone else. Le Carré builds a spy plot with false identities and moral dilemmas, where the line between victims, executioners and agents blurs.
Originally published as «The Little Drummer Girl» in 1983. This seventh edition belongs to Planeta's Bestseller mundial collection.
For readers of spy and suspense novels looking for plots about international conflicts and characters with moral dilemmas.

David John Moore Cornwell, known by his pen name John le Carré, was an English author. Many of his espionage novels have been adapted for film or television. He has been described as a "sophisticated, morally ambiguous writer", and is considered one of the greatest novelists of the postwar era. During the 1950s and 1960s, he worked for both the Security Service (MI5) and the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6). Near the end of his life, le Carré became an Irish citizen.
