«La Chambre des merveilles» is the contemporary novel by Julien Sandrel, published by Le Livre de Poche in paperback (312 pages, in French).

Thelma, mother of Louis, a twelve-year-old boy who falls into a coma after being hit by a car, finds the notebook where her son has written down the «merveilles», the experiences he dreams of living. She decides to carry them out one by one and tell him about them, hoping that these adventures will give him back the desire to wake up.

First novel by Julien Sandrel, originally published in 2018. The work was translated into twenty-six languages and received, among others, the Méditerranée des lycéens prize 2019.
