«La cantine, c'est pas bon !» is the children's picture book by Madeleine Brunelet, published by Actes Sud Junior in paperback (24 pages, in French).
It tells the experience of a young child with school canteen food: on the cover he is shown sitting at the table with a plate of red berries, covering his mouth with his hand and looking down with a look of displeasure. The title, «The canteen isn't good!», reflects an everyday situation in nursery school.
It is part of the «La Maternelle» collection from the children's imprint Actes Sud Junior, aimed at children aged 3 to 5.
For families and educators looking for a children's picture book that reflects the everyday experience of the school canteen.
