«La bicicleta amarilla» is the picture book by Matteo Pelliti with illustrations by Riccardo Guasco, published by Liana Editorial in paperback (32 pages).
Juanito has thought only of a yellow racing bike since he saw it cross the street: he imagines it on the way to school, in front of the shop window, and in class, where he draws his ideal bike. In a noisy metropolis, his father looks for an old bike to fix as a surprise for him. The story, in 16 stanzas of ottava rima, makes a simple wish epic.
Published on 1 March 2019; supplier records catalogue it as an illustrated book for children.
A picture book for young readers, especially for those who dream of bikes and enjoy poetic stories about everyday wishes.
