«La Bella Durmiente» is the children's tale adapted by José Morán and illustrated by Marina Seoane, published by Susaeta in hardback (18 pages, in Spanish).
It tells the story of a princess who, due to a curse, pricks herself with a spindle and falls into a deep sleep; only a prince's kiss can wake her. This adaptation of the classic fairy tale uses simple language and colour illustrations to bring the story to early readers.
Published in 1988, it is part of the 'Cuéntame un Cuento' collection.
Aimed at young children starting out with classic tales, it is also suitable for children's libraries.
