«La banda de los corazones sucios» is an anthology of the villain story by Salvador Luis, published by Ediciones Baladí in paperback (283 pp., in Spanish).
Salvador Luis selects and introduces a journey through the villain tale, with Spanish and Latin American authors who approach the cruel, the violent and the disturbing. The introduction starts from our fascination with the macabre, from the gaze we want to avert but cannot, and gives way to stories about dark instincts and shady characters.
Subtitled «Antología del cuento villano», it brings together stories by Mariana Enríquez, Antonio Ortuño, Jon Bilbao and Alberto Chimal, among others. Published in 2010. ISBN 9788493766160.
For readers of contemporary short fiction in Spanish interested in the dark side of the human condition.
