«Junie B. Jones tiene un hermano monísimo» is a children's book by Barbara Park, published by Editorial Bruño in hardback (96 pages, in Spanish).
Junie B. Jones doesn't look kindly on the arrival of a little brother: she thinks babies smell bad and doesn't understand all the fuss. When her grandmother assures her the newborn is the cutest thing she's ever seen, the girl imagines him as a little jungle animal and decides that telling the class will leave everyone speechless.
Second installment in the Junie B. Jones series, with illustrations by Denise Brunkus and translation by Begoña Oro Pradera. Original title: «Junie B. Jones and a Little Monkey Business» (1993).
Recommended for early readers aged 6 and up, especially for those who enjoy school stories and family humour.

Barbara Lynne Park was an American author of children's books. She is most well known for writing the Junie B. Jones series of chapter books. She has also written several middle grade and young adult books, including Skinnybones (1982), Mick Harte Was Here (1995), and The Graduation of Jake Moon (2000). Park's works frequently visit themes of familial relationships and children's experiences in school, and she based characters on her children and her own childhood memories. Park did not allow adaptations of her works except for stage plays.
