«Júbilo matinal» is the humorous novel by P. G. Wodehouse, published by Círculo de Lectores in hardback (284 pages, in Spanish).
The story continues the adventures of young Bertie Wooster and his inseparable valet Jeeves, this time relocated to a coastal town where Bertie tries to help friends with their love affairs and gets caught up in misunderstandings, disguises, and plans that don't go as expected. Wodehouse's British humour and agile dialogue sustain a typical comedy of errors by the author.
It is part of the Jeeves series, being the eighth instalment of the saga. Spanish translation by Manuel Bosch Barrett.
Recommended for readers who enjoy classic English comedy and stories featuring Jeeves and Bertie Wooster.
Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse was an English writer and one of the most widely read humorists of the 20th century. His creations include the feather-brained Bertie Wooster and his sagacious valet, Jeeves; the immaculate and loquacious Psmith; Lord Emsworth and the Blandings Castle set; the Oldest Member, with stories about golf; and Mr. Mulliner, with tall tales on subjects ranging from bibulous bishops to megalomaniac movie moguls.
