«Jhany, una búsqueda» is the novel by José Carlos García Fajardo, published by Editorial Anthropos in paperback (144 pages, in Spanish).
The novel begins when a telegram sets the protagonist in motion toward the Sahel, on the trail of an absent friend. The presence of Jhany, which runs through the plot, reaches a group of French aid workers and turns them into a mirror of their own identity, until it pushes them to name reality with freedom.
«Jhany, una búsqueda» is the second installment of the «Trilogía de la Ausencia», preceded by «Marrakech, una huida», and belongs to the collection «Libros de la Revista Anthropos».
