«Jenny Tiburón» is an illustrated children's book by Lisa Lundmark, published by Thule in paperback (112 pages, in Spanish).
Jenny is a quiet girl who identifies with sharks. At school she is asked to speak louder and at home not to be shy; her grandfather tells her that silence is golden. With her friend Amina she shares afternoons of reading and drawing, and together they try to help her grandfather, who misses his wife. A trip to the aquarium gives her the chance to show herself as she is.
Translation by Carmen Montes Cano, illustrations by Charlotte Ramel; original title: Haj-Jenny. Illustrated Narrative collection. Strega Ragazze e Ragazzi 2022 Award.
Reading for children and young people who enjoy stories about school, friendship and self-esteem.
