«Intel·ligència emocional» is the psychology essay by Daniel Goleman, published by Editorial Kairós in paperback (472 pages, in Catalan).
Daniel Goleman argues that success in life does not depend solely on intellectual quotient and champions emotional intelligence: self-awareness, impulse control, motivation, empathy and perseverance. He explains why very brilliant people fail while others with lower quotients succeed, and maintains that these skills can be learned and developed throughout life.
Catalan edition translated from English (original title: Emotional Intelligence) by Maria Àngels Asensio, Montserrat Ribas and Jordi Solà; part of the Assaig collection.
A book for those interested in psychology, personal development and emotional education.
