«Il danno» is the novel by Josephine Hart, published by Feltrinelli in paperback (168 pages, in Italian).
A mature man, a politician and family man, leads an orderly but passionless life until he meets his son's fiancée. Between them arises an erotic and psychological obsession that drags him into a clandestine and destructive relationship; the novel examines family fragility and the power of uncontrollable desire.

For adult readers: includes explicit erotic content and a psychological and suspense drama about forbidden passions.
