«I tu, què hi fas aquí?» is the children's novel by Joaquim Carbó i Masllorens, published by La Galera in paperback (176 pages, in Catalan).
In a modern, elegant block of flats, the neighbours don't speak to each other and the children have inherited their quarrels. The arrival of Joan, a simple and sharp-witted village boy, disrupts the routine: he naturally overcomes the mistrust and unites the children of the building, who end up doing together what their parents should have done long ago.
Number 48 of the Grumets collection, in the green series, it is written in Catalan and illustrated by Enric Cormenzana.
Aimed at readers around 10 years old, within children's and young adult fiction, and for those seeking narrative in Catalan.
