«Have You Seen My New Blue Socks?» is the rhyming children's picture book by Eve Bunting, published by Clarion Books in hardback, with 32 pages in English.
The duck protagonist has lost his blue socks and searches the countryside through simple rhymes; his animal friends help as he checks boxes and everyday objects. The story plays with words like socks, box, fox, and ox, and the mystery is resolved with a hidden detail that invites young readers to join the search.
Illustrated by Sergio Ruzzier. Originally published in 2013, the book combines rhyming text with pen-and-watercolor illustrations.
Recommended for children aged 4 to 7, especially for those beginning to read with simple rhymes and humor.
