«Happy Mouseday» is an illustrated children's story by Dick King-Smith, published by Corgi Pups in paperback (64 pages, in English).
Pete dreams of having a white mouse with pink eyes as a pet, but his parents always say no. Every Saturday, his «mouseday», he tries again without success. The idea of hiding a mouse in his tree house is becoming more and more tempting.
Includes illustrations by Peter Kavanagh and was published in 1996; the cover subtitle, «Perfect for new readers», indicates it is aimed at beginner readers.
A book suitable for children aged 5 and up who are starting to read on their own.
