«Hada Volada. El hada del árbol» is a children's fantasy and humour book by Margaret Ryan, published by Alfaguara in paperback (80 pages, in Spanish).
The protagonist is Hada Volada, a very clumsy fairy for whom everything goes wrong: she carries a crooked wand, her spells fail and she has got the worst marks in her academy. When Christmas approaches, she is sent as punishment to the Fiero tree, where she must complete six Good Magic spells to be able to attend the party.
Second title in the «Hada Volada» / «Airy Fairy» series, originally published as «Magic Mischief!» in 2003; this Spanish edition from Alfaguara is from 2006.
Aimed at young readers who enjoy fairy stories, humour and a Christmas setting.
Margaret Ryan (1944–2019) was a Scottish children's writer.
