«Guust» (volume 1) is the humour comic by André Franquin, published by Dupuis in paperback (48 pages, in Dutch).
Guust is an inventor with a boundless imagination, a lover of unusual animals and an office assistant incapable of avoiding disasters. His clumsiness, always committed with good will and honesty, turns the Dupuis editorial office into a chaos of inventions, pets and absurd situations.
Volume 1 of the series «Guust». This Dutch edition translates the original French «Gaston, tome 1» (1957).
Recommended for readers of humour comics and fans of classic Belgian comics.
André Franquin was an influential Belgian comics artist, whose best-known creations are Gaston and Marsupilami. He also produced the Spirou et Fantasio comic strip from 1946 to 1968, a period seen by many as the series' golden age.
