«Gretchen mein Mädchen» is the young adult novel by Christine Nöstlinger published by Oetinger Verlag in 1988, in hardback (222 pages, in German).
Gretchen Sackmeier, at seventeen, is caught in a romantic tangle between Florian, the most attractive boy in class, and Hinzel, an attentive young man with a profitable business. She is convinced she can love both at once; they, jealous, won't accept it, and everything turns into conflicts and comic situations.
Third instalment of the «Gretchen Sackmeier» trilogy by Christine Nöstlinger, after «Gretchen Sackmeier» and «Gretchen hat Hänschen-Kummer».
For young people aged fourteen and up and for readers of young adult fiction with romantic entanglements.

Christine Nöstlinger was an Austrian writer best known for children's books. She received one of two inaugural Astrid Lindgren Memorial Awards from the Swedish Arts Council in 2003, the biggest prize in children's literature, for her career contribution to "children's and young adult literature in the broadest sense."
