«Ghost Wall» is the horror and literary fiction novel by Sarah Moss, published by Granta Books in hardback (152 pages, in English).
Silvie, an English teenager, spends two weeks with her family at an experimental archaeology camp recreating Iron Age life in Northumberland. Her father, obsessed with the harshness of that era, imposes iron discipline. Among the course students, Silvie begins to glimpse a different life. The tense, unsettling narrative is threaded through with the story of a young woman sacrificed in a bog and culminates when the group raises a ghost wall and the violence of the past threatens to repeat itself.
