«Gente muy diferente» is a children's book by Ana María Machado, published by Editorial Everest in paperback (48 pages, in Spanish).
Rodrigo and Andrea suspect their family is not as ordinary as it seems: behind the appearance of grandparents and parents, a princess, a pirate, a fairy, and a giant might be hiding. To prove it, the siblings decide to observe them and gather small pieces of evidence to confirm their theory, in a story with nods to classic fairy tales.
It belongs to the Leer es vivir collection. The Spanish edition, illustrated by Ada García, was translated from Portuguese by Sandra Màrcia Pereira and published in 2008.
Aimed at children aged 8 and up who enjoy fantastical family stories and nods to classic fairy tales.
