Gegant de mica en mica

Synopsis of Gegant de mica en mica

«Gegant de mica en mica» is a children's picture book by Pablo Albo, published by Castellnou Infantil i Juvenil in hardback (32 pages, in Catalan).

Manuel seems like a boy like any other, but little by little he transforms into a giant in stages: one day his feet grow, another his eyes. His changes amaze and amuse his classmates, though they have advantages and disadvantages. Without meaning to, he uproots a tree from the neighbouring village while trying to retrieve a kite the wind has carried off.

Story illustrated by Aitana Carrasco, with translation by Laia Fidalgo, and the fourth volume in the Peix Volador collection.

Picture book designed for early readers aged 5 to 7, with a gentle story about difference and acceptance.
