Synopsis of Fuente Ovejuna

Fuente Ovejuna es una obra de teatro del Siglo de Oro español escrita por Lope de Vega. La obra narra la historia de un pueblo que se levanta contra los abusos de su comendador, Fernán Gómez de Guzmán. Los habitantes, hartos de la tiranía y la injusticia, deciden tomar la justicia por su mano y asesinan al comendador. Cuando los jueces enviados por los Reyes Católicos investigan el crimen, la única respuesta que obtienen de todos los habitantes es: "Fuente Ovejuna lo hizo". Esta obra es un alegato a la unión del pueblo contra la opresión y un símbolo de la lucha por la justicia y la libertad.
