«Fox Tale» is the children's picture book by Michael Foreman, published by Andersen Press in paperback (32 pages, in English).
A young fox leaves the den for the first time and discovers that a kind old man feeds his family near the railway tracks. When some rowdy boys attack the old man and he ends up in hospital, the cub, though wary, accepts the food that one of those boys offers him; thus begins an unexpected friendship.
Michael Foreman is also the illustrator of this work, originally published in 2006. This 32-page edition is from 2007.
Recommended for children aged 5 to 7, especially for early readers who enjoy animal stories.
