«Face à l’effroi, 9 juin-7 juillet» is the collective essay by Denis Lafay and nine other authors, published by Editions de l’Aube in paperback (in French).
Denis Lafay brings together ten interviews published in La Tribune to reconstruct the month from the dissolution of the National Assembly (9 June 2024) to the legislative elections of 7 July. The book examines the malaise of French society in the face of the rise of the far right and draws political lessons from the period.
Published on 13 September 2024, with 160 pages, a foreword by Edgar Morin and an epilogue by Laurent Berger.
For readers interested in the political and social analysis of contemporary France and the roots of the democratic crisis.
