«Europa Express» is Andrea Maceiras's psychological thriller for young adults, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (216 pages, in Galician).
Seven friends who have just finished their A-levels travel across Europe on an Interrail pass and live an experience that marks them forever. Ten years later, Nico finds a postcard in Bergen that reopens the wounds of that trip and drives him to bring the group back together to clarify the tragedy they suffered on their return. The novel alternates times, voices and settings to build a story about memory, identity and the strength of youthful bonds.
A choral novel of psychological suspense, originally published in 2015 and winner of the Jules Verne Prize for Young Adult Literature. It belongs to the Fóra de Xogo collection, aimed at readers aged 14 and over.
Recommended for young people and adults looking for stories of mystery and generational emotions around a shared journey.
