«España, perdiste» is the humour book by Hernán Casciari, published by Plaza & Janés in paperback (200 pages, in Spanish).
The author turns the relationship between Argentines and Spaniards into a humorous chronicle: after the 2001 crisis, a wave of Argentines lands in Spain and, in a parodic tone, tries to erode Iberian culture with customs and long after-dinner conversations. Nostalgia and humour are the keys to this chronicle of the peninsula's greatest plague.
First edition published on 7 September 2007. The cover subtitle is «La verdadera historia de la mayor epidemia que ha asolado la península: los argentinos».
Aimed at a general audience, especially those who enjoy humour and the cultural differences between Argentines and Spaniards.
