«Escupiré sobre vuestra tumba» is the crime novel by Boris Vian, published by El Mundo in hardback (152 pages, in Spanish).
Written originally in Paris in 1946 under the title J'irai cracher sur vos tombes and the pseudonym Vernon Sullivan, this novel combines violence and explicit sex in an anti-racist plea that seeks to stir the reader's conscience, and retains its full capacity to shock through its hard-hitting, fast-paced tone.
First instalment of the Vernon Sullivan series. No. 31 in the collection Las mejores novelas de la literatura universal contemporánea, with a foreword by Rosa Pereda.
For readers who do not shy away from explicit violence or sex and seek provocative reading.
Boris Vian was a French polymath who is primarily remembered for his novels. Those published under the pseudonym Vernon Sullivan were bizarre parodies of criminal fiction, highly controversial at the time of their release owing to their unconventional outlook.
