«Escolta els animals de la granja» is a sound book for children by Roger Priddy, Robert Tainish, Jo Ryan and Simon Mugford, published by Macmillan in hardback.
The cover integrates ten numbered sound buttons with images of animals; when pressed, the child hears their sounds while going through the pages dedicated to the farm. With the duckling and the lamb as protagonists, the book invites recognition of onomatopoeia and practice counting from 1 to 10.
Catalan translation by Mercè Santaulària Campillo. First edition published on 20 March 2010; 24 pages and recommended reading age of 0 to 3 years.
Designed for early childhood (0-3 years): combines animals, sounds and numbers in a first approach to language and counting.
Roger Priddy is the creator of Priddy Books, which publishes books for babies and young children. Priddy Books is a division of Macmillan Publishers and books published by the imprint have won several Practical Pre-School Awards.
