«Érase una vez un cuento» is the children's comic by Ainize Eguiarte Arrola and Alfonso Berroya Elosua, in hardback and in Spanish, published by Editorial Saure.
Six children take refuge in their own stories to escape their fears: one dreams of being a princess, another of being a mum, a third of being a mermaid, one fears a monster, and the twins a witch. Each invented story helps them face personal problems they do not yet understand; the narrative highlights the therapeutic power of fantasy.
First volume in the «Una mano tendida» series. Published in 2016. 64 pages. Script by Ainize Eguiarte Arrola and drawings by Alfonso Berroya Elosua.
Suitable for children and young audiences; addresses childhood fears and emotional issues.
