«En la luz inmóvil» is the romantic and coming-of-age novel by Ramón Pernas, published by Algaida in hardback (264 pages, in Spanish).
In the summer of 1967, two fifteen-year-olds fall in love on the Galician coast. That summer love turns over the years into a recurring and unfinished passion, while political changes shake their lives and their paths cross again. The work is also a portrait of friendship and a nostalgic look at youth.
It won the eleventh Emilio Alarcos Llorach International Novel Prize and appeared on 23 December 2003 in the Algaida Literaria collection.
For readers of romantic and historical fiction interested in recent Spain and in stories of love and friendship spanning several decades.
