«En busca de April» is the crime novel by Benjamin Black, published by Debolsillo in paperback (376 pages, in Spanish).
In 1950s Dublin, young April Latimer disappears. Phoebe Griffin asks forensic pathologist Quirke for help; with Inspector Hackett the investigation begins. While the family hides the case to avoid scandal and Quirke is distracted by actress Isabel Galloway, the search uncovers a web of jealousy, lies and secrets.
Third novel in the Quirke series. Benjamin Black is the pseudonym of John Banville, winner of the 2014 Prince of Asturias Award for Literature.
For fans of Irish-set crime fiction and followers of the Quirke series.
William John Banville is an Irish novelist, adapter of dramas, and screenwriter. A former member of Aosdána, he voluntarily relinquished the financial stipend in 2001 to another, more impoverished, writer.
