«Els trucs del formador. Art, ofici i experiència» is a collective essay on educational practice, published by Editorial Graó in paperback (259 pages, in Catalan).
A group of education professionals explains how they approach the task of training others, whether in a class or at a conference, and share resources and «tricks» that are usually kept to themselves. Throughout the chapters, the teachers agree on the importance of preparing the session well, honesty, empathy, enthusiasm, welcoming the group, the farewell and a sense of humour. The book is also a sincere reflection on the craft of the trainer and on how to improve one's own professional practice.
Collective work coordinated by Gregorio Casamayor, with the participation of ten teachers. It belongs to the collection «Desenvolupament personal del professorat», number 9.
