«Els Puyanawa i l'eruga de colors» is the children's picture book by Àlex Gimeno, published by Adolf Sanz Monfort in hardback (44 pages, in Catalan).
Based on real events, it tells the story of the indigenous Puyanawa people, enslaved and stripped of their language since 1905. It shows how new generations recover the legacy of the 'sons of the paxiuba palm', their spirituality and traditions. A tale that links past and present and champions the defence of indigenous peoples.
