«Els perills de ser dona» is a collection of short stories by Maria Pons i Vidal, published by Pagès editors in paperback (131 pages, in Catalan).

Ordinary women —students, housewives, workers, wives and mothers— are the protagonists. They suffer heartbreak, abandonment, sexual harassment at work and deceit, but find the strength to react with energy or in surprising ways. Each story becomes a thriller and asks whether it is dangerous to be a woman or more dangerous to be a man.
