«Els homes del sac» is a short story collection by Damià Bardera Poch, published in hardback by Edicions El Cep i la Nansa in 2012 (158 pages, in Catalan).
Around thirty very brief stories, grouped in three sections, deform childhood tales into an absurd and unsettling terrain. The whole works as a ruthless satire of human emotions, with unbridled black humour, apocalyptic touches and a deliberately incorrect acidity.
Number 18 of the La Cram collection. First edition of 2012, 158 pages, text in Catalan.
For readers who enjoy unsettling stories, black humour and irreverent versions of classic tales.
