«Ella in der Schule» is the children's book by Timo Parvela, published by dtv Verlagsgesellschaft in paperback (139 pages, in German).
Ella is in first grade and loves going to school, where crazy things always happen. The story is told from her point of view: she and her classmates try to protect their teacher from a supposed blackmailer, put on a play, and go on a trip, with lots of humour and misunderstandings.
First volume in the Ella series, with illustrations by Sabine Wilharm and translated from Finnish by Anu and Nina Stohner.
Suitable for early readers and for reading aloud; the humour and school setting make it appropriate for children aged about 6 to 8.
Timo Parvela is a Finnish author of juvenile fiction.
