«El toro Ferdinando» is the children's play by Munro Leaf and José Cañas Torregrosa, published by Editorial Everest in paperback, 60 pages in Spanish.
Ferdinando is a calm bull who, instead of charging, bellowing and leaping, prefers to contemplate and smell the flowers of the field. When foremen arrive to choose bulls for a bullfight, his peaceful nature triggers an unpredictable situation. The play addresses with humour the freedom of being oneself.
Fifth edition of the Leer es vivir / Teatro collection, published in 2000 and illustrated by Ángeles Peinador Arbiza.
Aimed at readers aged 8 to 10, especially those approaching theatre and stories with values.
