«El retorno de Pahana» is Robert Boissière's essay on Hopi mythology, published by Luciérnaga in paperback (235 pages, in Spanish).
The author, who lived with the Hopi tribe of Arizona, explores here the archetypal myth of the return of Pahana, a redeemer figure whose arrival the Hopi await. He relates this prophecy to Mayan, Sumerian, Egyptian and Christian traditions, and presents that knowledge as a way to restore harmony.
Work translated by Aurora Fernández de Villavicencio from the original English 'The Return of Pahana'. Part of the Testimonios y vivencias collection.
For readers interested in spirituality, Native American mythology and the comparative study of prophecies.
