«El regalo» is the contemporary fiction novel by Eloy Moreno, published by B de Bolsillo in paperback (448 pages, in Spanish).
The narrator describes a place that is hard to define, one you travel to in everyday moments: when the break bell rings, when you close your eyes before blowing out the candles, or when you receive a hug that holds you. That refuge ends up revealing itself as the back of the wardrobe that his life has become, where clothes that are no longer worn but are hard to discard are kept.
Edition in the MAXI collection from B de Bolsillo, published on 12 April 2018. Eloy Moreno is also the author of El bolígrafo de gel verde and Tierra.
For readers of contemporary fiction and Spanish narrative who enjoy emotive, introspective stories about memory and identity.
